Men’s track and field wins UAA championship
The men's and women's track and field teams were busy competing in the University Athletic Association (UAA) championships at the University of Chicago. The men’s team placed in almost every event, winning the championship among seven teams with 198.50 points. The women’s team followed with a solid performance, finishing sixth out of seven teams with 37.50 points.
Golf wins Edward Jones Shootout and places second in UAA championship
The Carnegie Mellon varsity golf team finished in second place this past Tuesday at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Golf championships in Orlando, Fla. In addition, the Edward Jones Shootout, which took place at the Links at Spring Church in Apollo, Pa., ended in a first-place finish for the Tartans.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Carnegie Mellon University Rowing Club participated in its local team racing scrimmage against the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University, although the Duquesne women's team did not compete.
